On Saturday, 14th January 2023, the Leyton Juniors netball team members were lucky to meet England and Jamaica netball teams at the Copperbox.
England, as part of the three-match series, had won their opening match in Manchester and were looking to win the game to win the series. Leyton Juniors were excited to meet, welcome the teams onto the court, and watch such a nail-biting match. The Roses, unfortunately, couldn't quite narrow the gap enabling Jamaica's Sunshine Girls to win. The Roses had everything to play for the final match the following day — another fantastic game but this time with The Roses taking the win and the series.
Leyton Netball Team would like to thank everyone who made this possible; it was a fantastic experience.
