On Sunday 8th September, 3 teams from Leyton Netball Club had the privilege of participating in the Jenny McLeod Memorial Tournament, hosted by OPA. The tournament was a heartfelt tribute to Jenny McLeod, a beloved member of the OPA community who had a deep passion for netball. Jenny’s parents were present at the event, adding a special significance to the day.

The tournament provided an opportunity to reflect, enjoy the sport Jenny loved, and spend quality time with friends on the court, doing what brings us all together—playing netball.

Leyton Netball Club had an incredible day, using the tournament as preparation for the upcoming season. Our teams delivered strong performances, finishing in 3rd, 5th, and 10th places, showcasing teamwork and skill in every game.

It was an unforgettable day filled with camaraderie, and competitive netball—a fitting tribute to Jenny McLeod's legacy.
