The new netball season is officially underway, and Leyton Netball Club couldn't have asked for a better start. On a beautiful, sunny day, all teams — A, B, C, D, E and juniors —hit the court, with some thrilling results to report.
Inside, the A, B, and C teams showcased their skills in a series of competitive matches. The A team and B team faced each other in a season opener clash, with the A's securing a victory in what proved to be a fantastic display of talent and teamwork.
Outside, under the bright blue skies, the D team had an intense, nail-biting game. Going into the second half 9 points down, they fought coming back with a 6 point well-deserved win. The E team showed determination winning convincingly, setting a strong tone for for the season.
Our junior players, also had their first game of the season. Their energy and enthusiasm were evident, and we’re excited to see them grow throughout the year.
With strong performances from all teams, Leyton Netball Club has set a high bar for the season. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
