As the 2024/2025 netball league season comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate the highs, reflect on the challenges, and look ahead to what’s next for Leyton Netball Club. This year, our teams showed resilience, determination, and true Red Army spirit on courts across all conditions - from freezing cold and gale force winds to spring sunshine and summer heat.

Highlights:

Double Promotion!
Leyton E had a phenomenal season, securing promotion to Division 8 for the second year running, with just one loss all season - a testament to their hard work and consistency. Leyton D also had a brilliant campaign of their own, clinching promotion to Division 5. Playing outdoors brought its own set of challenges, but the D and E squads rose to the occasion time and time again.

Holding Their Ground
Leyton A put in strong performances to finish 3rd in Division 1, comfortably holding their spot among the league’s top teams. Leyton C secured a mid-table finish in Division 3, keeping their place and setting sights on climbing higher next season.

Tough Times, True Grit
Leyton B battled bravely despite a season disrupted by injuries. Unfortunately, they finish at the bottom of Division 1 and will move to Division 2 next season, but the fight and team spirit never wavered.

Playoff Push
Our Regional and Premier teams are still in the fight, heading into their respective play-offs with everything to play for. Let’s hope that signature Red Army grit carries them through to the finish line!

A huge thank you to all players, coaches, and supporters for another incredible season. Here's to building on our successes and coming back even stronger in 2025/2026!
