Sport In Your Futures is a funded project piloted in 2019-2020. In that year we engaged 1150 primary school pupils across 22 schools who attended on-campus events at SportsDock, led by a workforce of 118 University of East London students and sport scholars.

The aim was to raise aspirations and inspire young people to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle. Sport In Your Futures in person events had to be put on hold for the 2010-2021 academic year, however this has provided time to plan for how we enhance and significantly grow the project for the future.

The project is made up of four main components, including:

1) University event days

2) School presentations & iNEAR workshops (linked to a PhD research study)

3) Free activity vouchers (encouraging local physical activity participation)

4) Additional family events & sports fixtures

Leyton Netball Club together with Sport In Your Futures will be holding two netball camps in November.  Keep an eye out as more information on these camps will be published.
